We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our culinary team. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are processed efficiently and accurately, facilitating communication between the kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel. The Expediter will ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of meals.
- Monitor the preparation of food items to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including cooking, assembling plates, and garnishing dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food handling safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with chefs and servers regarding order status and special requests.
- Help train new staff members on proper food handling techniques and service standards.
- Support the team during peak hours by bussing tables and assisting with customer service tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred.
