McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Optician for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Greet, check in patients. Verify demographics & insurance. Make, repair, adjust and dispense prescription lenses and frames. Take measurements and evaluates patients for assistance in lens design. Complete daily sales and receipts, prepares bank deposits.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED/HiSET
Day: Monday - Friday / When needed
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience
- One year of optical industry experience preferred but not required.
- On the job training available.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
