McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Medical Receptionist for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: maintaining desk activities, including greeting, scheduling and instructing of patients and visitors, use multi-line telephone system, including answering and screening calls with additional duties of scheduling outside testing and referrals
Education
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET.
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience
- Prefer one year experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Completion of Medical Terminology class required within one year of employment.
- Receptionist experience preferred but not required.
- Keyboard and computer experience.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
