McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: insurance prior authorization, scheduling appointment, assist patients, answer questions, rooming of patients to include vitals and updating EMR with medications and medical history. Position comes with competitive clinic pay and valuable benefit package.
Education
- Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certification/License
- Certification or registration from an approved certifying organization for Medical Assistants (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT & NHA)
- Possession of a State Practical Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
Days: Rotating weeks Thursday & Friday. Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Experience
- One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Experience with prior authorizations preferred.
- EMR (Epic) experience
