Position: Front Office Patient Coordinator (2 years dental assisting experienced required)

Hello! We are looking for someone special to join our great dental team! If you are looking for a full-time (Monday-Friday) Front Office Dental position or if you are a back office dental assistant who would like to transition to the business team, we would like to meet you! We are the highest rated dental team and North County's reason to smile! We are a general and cosmetic dentist office located in Encinitas, California. This position includes working with patients, insurance verification, scheduling appointments, tracking stats, team support and marketing projects. Dental assistant training, dental terminology, Dentrix knowledge are a must for this position. We are seeking a Front Office Assistant to join our team at Smiles By Design in Encinitas, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive exceptional service while supporting the overall operations of our dental practice. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to providing high-quality dental care and creating lasting smiles.
Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
• Assist in verifying insurance information.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance patient experience.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and appointments.
• Support the business and clinical dental team as needed.
• Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing inquiries or directing them appropriately.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within dental field.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Dentrix.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient centric service.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
