McElroy Deutsch is seeking attorneys with a minimum of 2 years of experience handling construction and construction-related matters for the Firm’s Tampa, Florida office. Bar admission in Florida is required. The attorney would be part of the Firm’s nationally recognized Construction and Surety Group, which has a diverse practice in contract claims, transactions, arbitration, and litigation in state and federal jurisdictions.

About This Position
McElroy Deutsch is seeking attorneys with a minimum of 2 years of experience handling construction and construction-related matters for the Firm’s Tampa, Florida office. Bar admission in Florida is required. The attorney would be part of the Firm’s nationally recognized Construction and Surety Group, which has a diverse practice in contract claims, transactions, arbitration, and litigation in state and federal jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients on litigation issues;
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and manage discovery;
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions; and
- Engage in courtroom advocacy and motion practice.
- JD from an ABA accredited law school;
- Admission to the Florida Bar;
- Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and
- Ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively in a team environment.
