At Precision Pump & Valve (PPV), our Inside Sales Representatives are the engine behind our customer relationships, qualifying leads, generating quotes, processing orders, and keeping Permian Basin oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial customers supplied with the safety relief valves, control valves, and process control equipment they depend on. Based out of our Midland, TX location, you'll work through phone, email, and ERP channels to manage the full inside sales cycle, support outside sales on key accounts, and keep warehouse inventory accurate and ready. PPV has been the trusted name in specialty process controls since 1985, and our Midland team is at the heart of our West Texas operations.

Inside Sales & Customer Development
- Make a high volume of outbound calls daily, develop new leads, qualifying prospects, generating interest, and moving opportunities through the sales process.
- Understand customer needs and requirements; route qualified opportunities to the appropriate outside sales representatives for further development and closure.
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest across oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial customers in the Permian Basin and surrounding markets.
- Retain and grow existing customer relationships through a proactive outreach model, staying ahead of customer needs before they call someone else.
- Generate accurate quotes, purchase orders, and customer orders daily in the ERP system.
- Follow up on quotes with customers and vendors via phone and email to drive conversion and keep opportunities moving.
- Generate shipping labels for various carriers; pull and pack parts and orders per customer request.
- Check in incoming freight and parcel deliveries; maintain accurate receiving records.
- Responsible for warehouse inventory management, conducting frequent counts, reordering stock, and maintaining adequate inventory levels to support customer demand.
- Partner with outside sales, marketing, and customer experience teams to support lead generation, quote conversion, and large account activity.
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- 3 years of inside sales, sales development, or account management experience with a proven ability to close.
- Strong phone presence, you're comfortable making dozens of calls per day and can build rapport quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and experience with ERP and/or CRM platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong listening and organizational ability.
- Comfortable working fluidly across phone, email, and digital communication channels.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- 5 years of customer service or inside sales experience.
- Knowledge of process valves, fluid power systems, or related MRO/industrial products.
- Fluid power systems training or certifications.
- Familiarity with oil & gas, petrochemical, or Permian Basin industrial markets.
