Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, ensuring quality standards are met at all times
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, handle transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through food handling, bussing tables, and kitchen sanitation practices
- Assist with food safety procedures, including proper food storage, handling, and hygiene protocols
- Support team members with food prep tasks, stocking supplies, and ensuring efficient workflow during busy periods
- Engage in basic math for cash transactions and retail math for sales tracking to ensure accuracy in all financial dealings
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in retail math or grocery store environments is advantageous but not mandatory
