Overview
We're seeking an experienced RN or LPN to serve as our Triage Nurse and Clinical Team Lead. This role combines direct patient care — assessing symptoms, answering patient calls, and prioritizing urgent needs — with leadership responsibilities overseeing our Medical Assistant team. It's ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced GYN or OB/GYN environment and wants to step into a leadership role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform telephone and in-person triage, assessing patient symptoms and determining appropriate level of care
- Provide clinical guidance and protocols for common GYN/OB concerns
- Supervise, train, and mentor Medical Assistants on daily floor operations
- Serve as a resource for MAs on clinical questions and patient flow
- Coordinate with providers to ensure timely follow-up on urgent cases
- Monitor workflow efficiency and help troubleshoot day-to-day clinical issues
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and documentation standards
Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN license in [state]
- 2 years of clinical experience; OB/GYN or women's health experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a lead, charge nurse, or supervisory role preferred
- Strong triage/assessment skills and sound clinical judgement
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a busy clinic setting
- Excellent communication skills — you'll be a go-to resource for both patients and staff
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
