Position Summary
The Scalehouse Administrator is responsible for supporting daily scalehouse and administrative operations by maintaining accurate paperwork, entering trailer and carrier data, communicating with yard and office personnel, and helping ensure the smooth flow of inbound and outbound activity. This role plays an important part in supporting transportation coordination, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Compensation

Starting pay: $16.00/hour.

Additional $2.00/hour night premium.

Qualifications:Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage bill of lading paperwork for Scrap OCC.

Enter trailer and carrier information into the GBP inventory system.

Communicate directly with yard spotters and inform them of trailer locations.

Organize and maintain daily paperwork and carrier files.

Provide dispatch and communication support for chemical and coal trucks entering and leaving the mill.

Work with office personnel to prepare bills of lading for outbound loads.

Assist with WSW Logistics safety initiatives and provide administrative support.

Provide general office and administrative support as needed.

Complete all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Previous administrative, clerical, logistics, or transportation support experience preferred.

Strong data entry and documentation accuracy skills.

Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, yard personnel, dispatch, and office staff.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
