- Support teachers in integrating LETRS principles into daily instruction, unit planning, and core curriculum design.
System Alignment & Student Achievement
- Build upon current schoolwide literacy systems, routines, and interventions to strengthen tier 1, 2, and 3 instructional practices.
- Lead grade-level and department data meetings to analyze student literacy growth, identify skill gaps, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Drive targeted strategies to improve early literacy outcomes in elementary grades while supporting content-area literacy skills in secondary grades.
Professional Development & Community
- Design and deliver high-quality, continuous professional development focused on evidence-based literacy instruction.
- Serve as a active advocate for the Science of Reading across the school community.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support broader school leadership initiatives and assist with overall academic program needs as appropriate to advance the school's mission.
