What are we looking for?
- Experience that demonstrates knowledge of vending methods, practices and procedures is preferred.
- Skill to load and arrange cargo to prevent shifting, falling, and breakage in vehicle.
- Skill to operate vehicles safely with a gross vehicle weight up to 26,000 pounds.
- May be required to operate a forklift.
- Knowledge and judgment sufficient to select alternate routes to avoid potential traffic problems and delays.
- Driver's license is required.
Responsibilities:
What to Expect
- Receives, loads and unloads vending merchandise for delivery to vending machine locations.
- Drives vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of up to 26,000 pounds over public roads at highway speeds under all traffic conditions to transport merchandise.
- Monitors brands and sale prices to ensure adequate stocking levels and compliance with approved selling prices.
- May help vending machine repairer in the minor maintenance and repair of vending machines.
- Light to moderate effort is required in bending, stooping, lifting and stocking. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.
- Works inside and outside and may be exposed to inclement weather conditions. Drives in all types of weather on public roads. Exposed to dirt, dust and the possibility of cuts and bruises.
- Performs other related duties as required.
