Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Columbia, SC, for a Pre-construction Manager. The role involves overseeing preconstruction activities, including cost estimating, budgeting, and scheduling work to align with project requirements. The Pre-construction Manager will engage with clients, architects, and subcontractors to develop proposals, manage design processes, and ensure seamless project planning. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams to prepare bid packages, analyzing project requirements, and providing budget recommendations to achieve efficient and effective execution.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Construction Estimating and Cost Management
• Strong skills in Design Management and Proposal Writing
• Experience in Budgeting and financial planning for construction projects
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Familiarity with relevant construction software and tools
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction or related fields
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
