NOW HIRING: SURVEY FIELD CREW CHIEF
McCrone | Hartwell is looking for an experienced Survey Field Crew Chief to join our Elkton, MD team!
If you know your way around a total station, GPS, and a job site—and you’re ready to lead a crew while getting the job done right—we’d like to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage daily survey field crew
- Perform boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys
- Operate GPS, robotic total stations, and other survey equipment
- Collect and record accurate field data
- Read plans, plats, and survey documents
- Work closely with surveyors, engineers, and project teams
- Help keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and accurately
What we’re looking for:
- Survey field experience with crew leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of surveying methods and equipment
- Ability to read plans and plats
- Valid driver’s license
- Dependable, organized, and safety-minded
- A team player who takes pride in their work
