What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Survey Crew Chief position at Alan O. Kent Land Surveying, LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Collects Data and measurements on assigned projects
- Collect data on a location, using surveying instruments, such as (robotic total stations), handheld Distance Meters, and measuring tapes
- Sets stakes and corners as prescribed
- Finds corners and other survey points, from previous surveys
- Records data from surveying instruments into handheld computers and field notebooks (Must have knowledge of Windows Computers and Microsoft Edge for research in the office and for data transfer.)
- Will operate as part of a two-person field crew
- Must have experience with land surveying or civil engineering
Must have valid drivers license and is subject to mandatory pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
