Role Description The CNC Assembler is a full-time, on-site role based in Maiden, NC, responsible for assembling furniture components produced on CNC equipment and related machinery. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, and measurements to accurately assemble parts, as well as inspecting components for quality and consistency before final assembly. The CNC Assembler will set up and operate basic woodworking or CNC-related tools as needed, follow safety and housekeeping standards, and coordinate with production and quality teams to meet daily output targets. The role also involves identifying and reporting defects or equipment issues, maintaining organized work areas, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical assembly, basic CNC or woodworking equipment, and hand tools used in furniture manufacturing.
- Ability to read and understand production drawings, measurements, and work orders, with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices, proper material handling, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a production team in a fast-paced setting.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials as required, and perform repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in furniture manufacturing or CNC/assembly work is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn new processes, adapt to production needs, and support continuous improvement efforts within the facility.
