Sales Support Manager - HEAVY EQUIPMENT

McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest, has a position to fill for a Sales Support Manager-Heavy Equipment in our Region 3 Tennessee and Kentucky dealerships. 

 Our sales Support Manager will coordinate and help oversee sales processes by streamlining sales operations, managing administrative tasks and coordinating between departments. In this role, we seek outstanding organizational and sales skills. We expect you to be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs. If you are also goal-driven and analytical, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our clients are happy and search for ways to increase our sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority): 

·        Support Territory Managers

·        Develop sales materials and tools that strengthen the John Deere Value proposition

·        Track sales performance, market share, customer prospects, and lost sales reporting

·        Assist with equipment and attachment inventory management and audits 

·        Manage sales reporting, customer data and sales enablement tools

·        Coordinate equipment sales

·        Support process improvements

·        Maintain historical sales records

·        Collaborate with branch leadership to support inventory and sales operations

·        Perform additional duties as assigned

Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:

·        Excellent time management skills

·        Accuracy and attention to detail

·        Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus

·        Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities

·        High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience required: associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

·        3 years of related experience and/or training

·        Basic Financial Principles

·        Excellent customer service skills

·        Valid driver’s license
