Job Summary
The Site Safety Coordinator promotes and enforces jobsite safety while supporting daily field operations. This role works closely with field leadership to plan, coordinate, and communicate safety requirements and serves as the primary safety point of contact on assigned projects.
This is a travel-based position requiring assignment to job sites across the United States. Candidates must be willing and able to travel frequently to support projects in multiple states as needed. Must be local to the Houston, Texas area.
Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce company and site-specific safety programs
- Conduct safety orientations, audits, and inspections
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Communicate safety expectations with field personnel and leadership
- Assist with incident reporting and corrective actions
- Serve as the on-site safety point of contact
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required
- Must be local to the Houston area
- 2 years of safety or construction-related experience
- Must be willing to travel to job sites across the U.S. on a regular basis
- OSHA 510/500 is acceptable; OSHA 510 is preferred
- OSHA 30
- CPR & First Aid
- Must pass drug screen, background check, and physical
- Strong communication and organizational skills
