Position Summary: The IT System Administrator role combines onsite technical support, Windows and network troubleshooting, user services, and coordination with global IT teams. Supports workstations, mobile devices, printers, and basic infrastructure while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day IT operations. This position will report directly to the Regional Digital & IT Director.
Description of Duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows PCs, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Provide end‑user support for hardware, software, Office 365, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot basic network components (LAN/WAN/WiFi, switches, access points).
- Support onboarding/offboarding, device deployment, and access setup.
- Administer and maintain Active Directory (users, groups, Group Policy)
- Maintain hardware inventory and support office/Zebra printers
- Monitor and perform basic checks on local IT systems, escalating to global IT when needed.
- Participate in global IT infrastructure projects and follow global IT standards.
- Coordinate with external service providers and ensure service quality.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration
- Experience supporting Windows environments and end-user devices
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and service‑oriented mindset.
- Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics NAV software
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Industry certifications such as: COMPTIA A , Network , or Security
- 2-5 Years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Exposure to global IT operations or multi-site support
