Roemer Machine is currently seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager in Davenport, Iowa, to lead our manufacturing operations and support the continued growth and success of our business.
Our General Manager oversees daily operations across our centrifuge repair and machine shop departments, including production, staffing, quality, estimating, customer relationships, and operational performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly alongside experienced senior leadership, receiving one-on-one training and mentorship to develop a comprehensive understanding of the business. The goal is to develop a well-rounded leader who can independently manage operations and carry forward Roemer's reputation for quality and service.

What makes you successful in this position?
- 7–10 years of manufacturing or industrial experience, including leadership or management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and operational efficiency.
- Proven experience leading teams, managing resources, and driving operational performance.
- Understanding of operational costs, financial performance, and customer relationship management.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and decision-making skills; proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, with Global Shop Solutions experience preferred.
