- Develop a strong understanding of key operational processes and workflows including the key business drivers behind those processes. Partner closely with key stakeholders to consider new and better ways to
- technology to drive greater business outcomes (improved collaboration, efficiency, quality, etc.). Facilitate effective discovery sessions and techniques to uncover specific business needs and requirements.
- Establish a future state vision and lead approach to designing, developing, implementing, and supporting future state use cases.
- Build strong partnerships with internal business leaders, influencers, project teams, and users serving as the technology and business enablement advocate too advise and direct the best practice methods.
- Act as liaison to other IT teams and be a focal point for cross-application integration opportunities.
- Develop partnerships with key stakeholders within external technology vendors, including implementation resources, customer success representatives, and product teams.
- Execute mindful project planning for each technology initiative, including resource planning, schedule, key milestones, risk mitigation, issue management and ongoing communication.
- Seek to execute projects in an agile, highly collaborative manner with a goal of delivering value for McCarthy throughout project execution.
- Plan, develop and execute testing, communication, and change management activities.
- Develop training content based on best practices established for application capabilities.
- Facilitate communications and interactions between functional groups, team members, strategic partners, and vendors.
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- 3 years of experience in systems analysis, delivery, and support preferred
- 3 years of experience with Project Management module functions (Project controls, Job Costing, Job Billing, Subcontract management & Change Management)
- Experience working in a construction company (GC, subcontractor, or owner) with large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with related construction technology tools (Primavera P6, Procore, Textura, Power BI).
- Experience with SQL is desired
- Clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with aptitude for acquiring new skills
- Highly motivated team player with passion for delivering value to the organization Strong organizational and project management capabilities with a drive for continuous improvement
