Job Title: Financial Operations Intern
Location: Moncks Corner, SC
Duration: Summer Internship (May–August, flexible based on academic schedule)
Position Summary
The Financial Operations Intern will support the team in developing, maintaining, and reporting budget tracking documents. This role provides hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and administrative coordination, while contributing to key business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and analysis of budget tracking documents and financial reports
- Support the development of dashboards and visual reporting tools using Excel, Oracle and PowerBI
- Compile, organize, and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Prepare presentations and summary materials for internal stakeholders using PowerPoint ,Excel, and Word
- Provide administrative support to the TOS team, including documentation, scheduling, and coordination of meetings
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data visualization
Qualifications
- Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, with at least one year of the program completed
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Power BI, Word, and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, and data analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial reporting or budgeting tools
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices
- Prior internship or coursework related to finance or analytics
