What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Billing Coordinator #1 position at McCall's Communities for Life Enrichment?
General Duties:
To establish, maintain and process records and reports concerning DHS billing. Maintain compliance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern billing practices.
Specific Duties:
- Compiles backup information to complete totals for billing. This includes hour aging reports, allocations of hours, census sheets, mileage sheets, attendance logs & other spreadsheets.
- Totals units & cost.
- Completes reimbursement forms for employees who use their personal vehicles to transport individuals.
- Completes reimbursement forms for employees for approved meals when on approved outings.
- Assists in research of outstanding, suspended & unpaid claims.
- Assists in requesting additional units when necessary.
- Assists in working with DDS Provider support and case managers regarding units and other billing concerns that arise.
- Works with Community and Vocational PCs, nurses, Community Billing Manager and other staff regarding billing questions and concerns.
- Assists with client monthly expenses, i.e. deposits, receipt reconciliation, bank statement reconciliation, entering information into the system.
- Is the backup for the Billing Manager
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic office equipment, computer and office procedures. Effective verbal and
written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with other departments.
Education, Training & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Valid Oklahoma Drivers License. One year of general office, data entry or AP/AR experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
