1.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES
1.1 Verify that the daily production data matches the product being produced prior to start
1.2 Responsible for stacking cans on pallets, using the Brite Stacker, which are segregated by product code
1.3 Responsible for removing jammed cans near and around the machine while continuing to monitor
stacked product
1.4 Ensure that items sent to the warehouse have the correct product codes and production dates using
the pallet production identification ticket
1.5 Conducts emboss code and temperature checks on cans every 30 minutes to ensure that product has
been cooked thoroughly but not overcooked. Responsible for reporting issues out of acceptable
parameters to supervisor and lab
1.6 Ensure that cans continue flowing into the Brite stacker- inspects cans during this process. Dented
cans are sent to rework and oily cans are cleaned
1.7 Operators must understand the can color coding system in the “Marked Can Changeover Policy”
1.8 Maintains records and paperwork regarding temperature checks and product completion
1.9 Communicate with forklift drivers as necessary
1.10 Keep area clean by performing daily general sanitation
1.11 Other duties may be assigned.

3.1 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
3.2 Ability to communicate with others orally.

4.2 Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement and volume.

written, oral, or diagram form.
