D/C PULLER / LOADER + INCENTIVE PAY - NEW HIR

1.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES to be Completed Safely

1.1 Daily Equipment Inspection –

1.1.1 Lift is clean and operational

1.1.2 I-Pad, Scanner, and Mounts are accounted for and in good working condition.

1.2 AOR’s (Area of Responsibility) – completed at start and end of shift

1.3 Work Assignment must be completed Safely, Accurately, and Efficiently

1.3.1 Picking – Follow ALL SOP’s for picking

1.3.1.1 All items are picked in full and in good quality

1.3.1.2 All Lot Codes are correct

1.3.1.3 All pallets are fully wrapped and staged

1.3.2 Loading – Follow ALL SOP’s for loading

1.3.2.1 Lock out and Trailer Inspection

1.3.2.2 Confirm the correct load and door with Driver

1.3.2.3 Inspect each pallet for accuracy

1.3.2.4 Confirm pallet when loaded

1.3.2.5 Securely load each pallet to withstand the rigors of transportation

1.4 Required to complete ALL system transactions at the time any products are moved.

1.5 Operation of forklift to load and unload of trucks with correct product types and damage-free product.

1.6 Other duties may be assigned

2.0 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 None

3.0 LANGUAGE SKILLS

3.1 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.

3.2 Ability to communicate with others orally.

4.0 MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

4.1 Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

5.0 REASONING ABILITY

5.1 Ability to apply common sense understanding and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

6.0 POSITION REQUIREMENTS

6.1 Safely and continuously work with and around fast-moving equipment

6.2 Master all basic functions for both picking and loading processes by use of I-Pad within 30 days of hire date.

6.3 Lift 40-50lbs continuously

6.4 Stand and/or sit for long periods of time

6.5 Work Flexible Schedules to include but not limited to:

6.5.1 Any Shift

6.5.2 8, 10, and/or 12 hours shifts

6.5.3 Possible Saturday’s and/or Sunday’s

6.6 Good Attendance in accordance with the Attendance and Punctuality Policy

6.7 Previous Forklift experience with McCall Farms Certification (must pass written and driving test)

6.8 Bump cap and High-Vis Safety vests to be worn at all times inside the DC.

6.9 Excellent Communication Skills
