About the role.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, Gordon Food Service (GFS) North America, this role is responsible for driving the development and execution of McCain’s business plans with GFS, a high-priority customer, to maximize profitable growth across our foodservice portfolio of potato and appetizer products. You will lead the market level achievement of performance metrics, activate plans in collaboration with McCain field sales, and lead engagement with market and regional GFS stakeholders in the region. All activities should reflect McCain Selling System (MSS) principles and support our shared growth objectives.
What you’ll be doing.
\tDevelop and execute business plans to consistently deliver volume, net sales and annual KPI targets
\tAlgin efforts across McCain Field Sales, Category Management, Go-to -Market & GFS key stakeholders
\tLead GFS dedicated Sales Agency Partner/broker relationships at the market, regional and local levels ensuring clear priorities and customer target lists
\tActivate strategies using local GFS relationships and cross-functional internal teams
\tResponsible for developing and maintaining relationships with GFS Region Merchandising Managers and division leadership, performing regular business reviews and identifying areas for growth in cooperation with GFS Corporate initiatives.
\tManage trade spend and travel/expense budgets to ensure cost effectiveness and alignment with plans
\tPartner with McCain field Sales Directors and Managers to identify and develop white space opportunities in the US Market, specifically the Atlantic region
\tServe as a principled leader, consistently modelling collaboration, integrity and a commitment to doing business in the right way on behalf of McCain and GFS
\tSupport Head of Sales, GFS NA on other projects at both a corporate and market level as required

What you’ll need to be successful.
\tBachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required
\t5 years of foodservice sales experience
\tStrong knowledge of the foodservice industry; GFS experience preferred
\tExperience in broker management and distribution is an asset
\tSelf-starter with strong work ethic and sound judgment
\tExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
\tProven ability to collaborate cross-functionally at all levels
\tExperience managing or leading a team is preferred
\tProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with McCain systems is a plus
\tAbility and willingness to travel frequently across a large geographic territory
\tMust possess a valid driver’s license and be open to overnight travel as required
\t
Regional Sales Territory: Atlantic Region Divisions—Allegheny (Imperial), New England (Taunton), Mid-Atlantic (Aberdeen), Carolinas (Kannapolis)
Preferred to be based out of would be Virgina, Delaware, Maryland or North Carolina

Compensation Package: $81,600.00 - $108,900.00 . USD annually Bonus eligibility
