Job Summary – Bakery Associate
•Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves and display cases.
•Wrap, package and price all products accurately and legibly.
•Fill customer orders as requested, provided exceptional customer service.
•Remove products from freezer when instructed.
•Set up and put out bakery items for use by baker.
•Rotate products and remove out-of-code items.
•Maintain knowledge of all products sold within the department.
•Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program.
•Refer unusual or difficult customer problems to a manager for prompt attention.
•Perform other duties as directed or required by company policies.
Physical Demands:
•Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty.
•Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time.
•Work safely around ovens.
•Lift, push, and/or pull bakery ingredients/items up to 25 pounds.
•Ability to wear company-provided uniform, and maintain a clean and groomed appearance.
Skills Requirements:
•Friendly personality and “customer service” mentality.
•Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation.
•Good verbal and written communications skills.
Working hours: 13-29 hours per week
Salary : $12 - $15
