Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The position available is Tuesday through Friday 8am thru 3pm.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in customer service and the ability to engage with customers effectively. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in assisting customers with purchases and order taking, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs.
- Operate cash register and credit card machine.
- Maintain organized and clean showcases etc.
- Fulfill orders accurately. and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Assist other staff members, when necessary, with instore customers or fulfilling orders.
- Maintain knowledge of products current and seasonal as well as pricing.
- Utilize strong communication skills to interact with customers in person and over the phone, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Packing products
- Opportunity to assist in finishing off products for instore sales: cupcakes, cookies, creampuffs, eclairs etc.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
