Under direct supervision of licensed personnel, performs a variety of routine duties to assist the nurses in the delivery of patient care.
§ Technical skills to provide care to ED patients.
§ Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
§ Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
§ Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
§ Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
§ Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
§ Ability to move or lift patients and equipment.
§ Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
