- Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.
Learn About a Day in the Life of a PCT:
- Supports the organization’s mission, vision and values.
- The nursing assistant also assists the licensed personnel.
- In addition, the medical/surgical nursing assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, basic nursing care needs,
- and maintains a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse.
- The Nursing Assistant performs age-specific care as appropriate.
- Responsible for manning the nursing station and performing clerical and receptionist duties.
Job Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to provide basic nursing care to patients of all ages; neonates to geriatric population.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Previous work as a nursing assistant or completion of a nursing assistant training program.
