What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager Logistics position at mca?

Job Summary:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire logistics function for Copper and Aluminum transactions, including organizational management, operational governance, risk management, process and system optimization, and people management, including performance evaluation (primary evaluator) and supporting recruitment activities as needed.

This role does not directly perform day-to-day logistics execution but ensures high-quality execution by the logistics team through process design, implementation, guidance, and oversight. However, in cases of temporary workforce shortages—such as team member absence, illness, or increased workload—the Logistics Manager may be required to step in and perform operational logistics tasks as an individual contributor.

In addition, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end workflows from contract conclusion to delivery, this role actively contributes to system enhancements and development initiatives.

The Logistics Manager works closely with Front, Middle, and Back Office functions to ensure efficient operations in full compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
