Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team, responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and concrete mixers on construction sites.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Safely transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while operating equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience in a construction environment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Experience with commercial driving and operating various types of heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with farm machinery operation is a plus.
- Proven ability to operate dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker vehicles effectively.
