Apprentice Electrician

Overview: The Electrician Apprentice’s central task is to assist the Electrician. This involves doing basic tasks such as handling tools and materials, working independently from the Electrician on assignments that are redundant and requiring less skill initially.

Reports To: Field Operations Manager

Has Reporting: None

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the care and security of company materials and tools.
• Ensure the quality of assigned tasks meet or exceed the Electrician's expectations.
• Maintain a respectful demeanor toward electrician and customers.
• Perform legible and accurate paperwork.
• Retain job instructions and apply forward.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 3 years of electrical experience.
• Current vehicle driver’s License.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be in good physical condition and pass medical exam.
• Must be drug free and pass a qualifying test.
• Demonstrate a proficiency in math at an algebra level.
• Be able to distinguish colors used to code electrical components.
• Must be able to bend and run conduit proficiently.
