Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and load shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and RF scanners to ensure accurate handling of goods.
- Perform order picking and packing tasks with precision using order pickers and inventory management software to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Prepare shipments by packaging products according to shipping & receiving standards while ensuring compliance with trade regulations and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on warehouse distribution activities, including load & unload operations, shipping logistics, and order fulfillment.
- Support warehouse safety initiatives by adhering to operational procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely and effectively; forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
