What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Manager position at MBW, Inc. (Compaction & Concrete Construction Equipment)?
MBW, Inc. is an innovative and growing manufacturer of concrete and compaction equipment.
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to develop relationships with potential and existing customers for the purpose of increasing territory growth. This position helps provide training opportunities and product support to dealers and distributors to assist in the sales of M-B-W products.
Essential Duties:
● Develop and maintain customer relationships:
- Contact existing and prospective customers to discuss their needs and explain how these needs can be met with specific MBW products.
- Solicit orders through training, presentations, product demonstrations, explaining product features and the overall sales process.
- Utilize the CRM system to track interactions with existing customers and to help identify potential new customers.
●Generate sales
- Identify prospective customers and carry out development plans to grow territory.
- Estimate or quote prices, obtain credit information, explain contract terms, warranties and delivery dates.
- Negotiate details of contracts and payments and prepare sales contracts and order forms.
- Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.
●Manage demo and consignment equipment within territory.
●Provide post-sales support
- Consult with clients after sales or contract signings in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Help mediate problems or questions related to product or invoicing.
●Perform administrative duties
- Preparing sales reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
●Assist in marketing functions & events: social media, photos and videos.
●Travel: 50-75%
●Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a business related degree preferred
Experience in the concrete, construction, or similar mechanical equipment industry
