Position Overview
MBR Financial is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst with 2–5 years of experience who is looking to build a long-term career in wealth management.
This role will work closely with Principal advisors to develop and implement financial plans for high-net-worth clients and their families. The position offers meaningful exposure to client relationships, financial planning strategy, portfolio management, and the firm’s investment process.

As a boutique firm, analysts gain exposure to the full wealth management process—from financial planning and investment strategy to client meetings and implementation. Analysts work directly with the firm’s Principals and actively participate in client meetings, allowing for accelerated professional development.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and update comprehensive financial plans
- Prepare materials for client meetings and participate in planning discussions
- Monitor client financial goals and update planning strategies
- Support portfolio management and trading operations
- Deliver exceptional service and maintain strong client relationships
- Cross-training to back up other employees in critical functions such as portfolio management and trading
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in wealth management or financial services
- One or more certifications such as CFP®, CPA, or ChFC®, or actively pursuing a designation
- Strong understanding of general finance, financial planning, and investment concepts
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well within a small team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality service
