Work Model: Hybrid acceptable; preference for onsite (5 days/week). Open to remote candidates who can travel onsite 2 out of every 4 weeks (approximately 10 days per month).
Duration: 6-month contract

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Consultant / Senior Accounting Manager to support their Corporate Accounting organization with critical month-end and quarter-end close activities, financial reporting, shared services accounting, audit support, and internal controls initiatives.
This consultant will serve as an extension of the accounting team, partnering closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong corporate accounting experience, advanced technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to independently manage multiple accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have experience supporting complex accounting operations, preparing financial reporting deliverables, performing reconciliations, assisting with consolidations, and strengthening accounting processes while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience within a corporate accounting environment
- Strong experience supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Advanced understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Hands-on experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, consolidations, and financial reporting
- Experience supporting audits and preparing audit documentation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve accounting issues
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams
