Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across various facility areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols
- Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and other floor care equipment to maintain pristine flooring surfaces
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, and equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices
- Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs, custodial maintenance, and basic residential painting as needed
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying supervisors when restocking is required
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or custodial cleaning with a strong understanding of janitorial best practices
- Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and chemical sprayers
