Job Title: Process Engineer Technician
Department: Engineering
Reports To: Department Supervisor
FLSA Status: Hourly
Summary: The purpose of this position is to serve as a hands-on link between Process Engineering and Production. This position will assist in improving and documenting manufacturing processes while supporting operations in all areas of the manufacturing process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and document time study and other data by working directly with employees on the line
- Work with builders and engineering teams to gather all information on how to complete all tasks and take pictures to build step-by-step standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Create and maintain fiberglass splashes
- Build and repair carts, racks, and other fixtures made from metal, plastic, and/or other materials
- Assist in researching and developing new processes and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) experience is preferred
- Welding experience is preferred
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
