What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Professor Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Tenure Track) position at mbcc-mass?

The selected candidate will play a
key role in launching the new Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, scheduled
to begin in fall 2026 at our state-of-the-art Ultrasound Lab in Framingham. We
are seeking someone who is innovative, student-centered, and passionate about
teaching, mentoring, and supporting learners from various backgrounds.
Responsibilities include instructing in classroom, lab, and simulation
settings; developing curriculum; advising students; and participating in
accreditation processes and program administration.
The faculty member will design and execute
instructional and evaluation materials in accordance with the philosophy of the
DMS program, the mission of MassBay Community College, and the standards
established by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical
Sonography (JRC-DMS) and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health
Education Programs (CAAHEP). Instructional duties may encompass day, hybrid,
and online modalities.
Faculty
members must maintain up-to-date credentials in at least one of the program’s
concentrations, such as Abdominal -extended or Obstetrics and Gynecology.
