Duties
- Provide instructional support across multiple classrooms, covering different age groups and subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and library services.
- Assist with lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to diverse student needs, including those requiring special education or targeted academic interventions.
- Implement assessment-driven instruction by analyzing student performance data to inform personalized learning strategies.
- Support classroom management and behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers on instructional design, student assessment, and the implementation of Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks.
- Engage in early childhood education practices, including toddler care, preschool activities, and Montessori methods where applicable.
- Contribute to the maintenance of educational compliance and regulation standards while ensuring a safe, inclusive space for all children.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional strategies for young children.
- Experience working with students with disabilities and familiarity with special education practices.
- Proficiency in learning technology tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking student progress.
- Demonstrated classroom experience in elementary or preschool settings with a focus on childhood development and literacy education.
- Ability to analyze student performance data for quantitative evaluation and to tailor interventions accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and families.
- Skilled in conflict management, behavior management techniques, and instructional design principles.
