Overview
MB2 Dental IT provides first-rate IT Services to dental practices across the United States. We are seeking a Windows Imaging Specialist to join our small yet fast-growing department in Carrollton, TX. A Windows Imaging Specialist is responsible for creating, customizing, deploying, and maintaining Windows operating system images for enterprise environments, with a strong focus on leveraging Microsoft Intune for modern device management, deployment, and update automation. This role ensures efficient, secure provisioning and management of Windows devices using traditional imaging tools and cloud-based Intune services to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and manage Windows device imaging using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and related tools.
- Design and maintain automated deployment processes to ensure efficient and consistent imaging of devices.
- Administer Intune for mobile device management (MDM), mobile application management (MAM), and endpoint security.
- Develop and enforce security policies, compliance rules, and device configurations via Intune and Group Policy.
- Oversee device enrollment, ensuring a seamless and secure process for users, including reinstallation and re-imaging as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve device imaging, deployment, and Intune management issues.
- Automate configuration and deployment tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to align imaging and Intune configurations with business and compliance requirements.
- Document processes, configurations, and procedures, and provide training to end-users and IT staff.
- Monitor system health, generate compliance and device health reports, and optimize performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in device imaging, deployment, and management, with at least 2 years focused on Microsoft Intune.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Windows Imaging Format, Azure Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Experience with automated deployment tools (e.g., MDT, SCCM/MECM) and scripting (PowerShell preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for imaging and endpoint management.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management, deployment, and compliance.
- Advanced knowledge of Group Policy Management in Active Directory environments, including creating, editing, and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and customization of deployment processes.
- Experience supporting large-scale Windows deployments in enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with endpoint security practices and compliance frameworks.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills related to imaging, deployment, and hardware compatibility.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills for process documentation and team collaboration.
