Laboratory Analyst

Mb Staffing is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform chemical, biological, and microbiological testing in a fast-paced wastewater laboratory. This role supports regulatory compliance, environmental safety, and laboratory accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct wastewater analyses (BOD, COD, TSS, nutrients, pH, E. coli, etc.)
• Collect, preserve, and transport samples following QA/QC protocols
• Operate and calibrate lab equipment and automatic samplers
• Maintain accurate records and enter data into LIMS
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and media
• Follow safety procedures and support lab quality standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science (3 yrs lab experience) or
• Associate degree (5 yrs wastewater lab experience)
• Strong wet chemistry and microbiology skills
• Ability to obtain Wastewater Laboratory Analyst I license within 18 months
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varied environmental conditions

Preferred:

• Experience in a NELAP-accredited laboratory
