What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant position at MB Home Care LLC?
We are seeking an In Home Caregiver to become a part of our team! You will provide routine healthcare/companionship to patients at the patients’ homes.
Must have a vehicle to transport clients locally. Great for someone starting out in this field or someone looking for part time work while their kid(s) are in school. One shift is Mondays and Fridays 11am to 3pm for a woman in North Haven with early stages of Alzheimer's. Another is Tuesdays Thursdays 8am or 9am start time, for four hours Total 16 hours a week
Responsibilities:
- Daily chores such as laundry, changing sheets, taking out trash, etc.
- Meal Prep
- Companion
- Provide routine individualized care
- Transportation
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status
- Safety Monitoring
- Accompany to appointments as needed
Qualifications:
- Reliability a must
- Must have a vehicle
- Experience in home health or other related field
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
