Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate - I to join our dynamic finance team. In this position, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial records, assisting with account reconciliations, and supporting compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This is a paid position designed to foster growth in the field of accounting and financial management.
Duties
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile the differences in invoice payments and dispute the chargebacks.
- Support balance sheet reconciliation activities, including general ledger account analysis and journal entries.
- Aid in the review of financial data for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and governmental regulations.
- And other tasks/projects assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles such as debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting
- Experience with accounting software including QuickBooks Desktop.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of financial concepts such as account reconciliation, journal entries, budgeting, and credit analysis
- Excellent math skills combined with analytical thinking for account analysis and account reconciliation tasks
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools like ERPs.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and support internal controls compliance

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
