Overview: Mitutoyo Scanning CMM Operator/Programmer
Join our team
as a Mitutoyo Scanning CMM Operator/Programmer, a key role ensuring the
precision and quality of our products through advanced metrology techniques.
You will program, operate, and manage Mitutoyo Scanning Coordinate Measuring
Machines (CMMs) to inspect high-precision components in a cutting-edge environment
where quality and innovation are paramount.
Key
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate
Mitutoyo Scanning CMMs to meet engineering specifications and quality
standards.
- Analyze and interpret inspection
data to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with production,
engineering, and quality assurance teams to resolve inspection-related
issues.
- Perform calibration and maintenance
of CMM equipment for reliable performance.
- Document inspection results
accurately and maintain detailed quality records.
- Support continuous improvement by
refining inspection processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Mitutoyo
Scanning CMMs, including programming and operation.
- Strong knowledge of CMM software,
scanning techniques, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and
Tolerancing).
- Ability to interpret complex
engineering drawings and specifications.
- Detail-oriented with excellent
problem-solving and communication skills.
- Adherence to regulatory standards
and company quality policies.
Education
and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent;
technical training or CMM certification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience as a CMM
operator/programmer, ideally in medical device or high-precision
manufacturing.
