A Mechanical Technician is responsible for assembling component parts in accordance with a specified set of blueprints or schematics. The technician will verify the correct quantities and quality of component parts. Checking items as needed or called out on process travelers, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound components. The Mechanical Technician will weld machined parts to create weldments utilized in the assembly of the crane.

Requirements
Education:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to Operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Must be able to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Requires written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Conceptual and planning skills are required
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to change work priorities frequently
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
