What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mid-Level Administrative Specialist position at Mayvin, Inc?
Mayvin is seeking a Mid-Level Administrative Specialist to assist the Prisoner Operations Division of the United States Marshals Service. This position requires more challenging and varied work and involves some originality and interpretation skills. The individual performing in this position must take direction well and work independently.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)
Responsibilities:
- Maintains suspense system for the individual's assigned branch, identifying past due items and ensuring that due dates are met
- Coordinate and manage daily calendars
- Demonstrate professional level in verbal and written communications
- Prepare meeting documents, including agendas, slide decks, handouts, and notes
- Prepare special reports on an as-needed basis
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 1 year of specialized experience in the duties described above
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new computerized systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct support of a Director or above within a Government Agency
