Role Description
The Business Development Associate works directly with the Head of Distribution and Regional Sales Managers to expand MayTech's client base across intermediary, institutional, and independent channels. The primary focus of the role is proactive outbound prospecting, scheduling qualified meetings, and helping grow assets under management (AUM). This position is ideal for a motivated, competitive individual who enjoys building relationships and driving results.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls and outreach to financial advisors and institutions
- Schedule qualified meetings for the Head of Distribution and Regional Sales Managers
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
- Track activity, meetings, and opportunities within the firm's CRM
- Contribute to the firm's long-term AUM growth through consistent business development efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 1 years of experience in financial services, sales, or business development preferred
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Highly motivated, organized, and results-oriented
- FINRA licenses (Series 7 & 63) or willingness to obtain preferred
