What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Assistant Cross Country Coach position at Maysville Junior HIgh/High School?
Starting Salary: This is a stipend position. Assistant Coach will be placed within the salary range based upon experience and credentials.
Description: The coach shall be responsible for assisting the head coach in planning, managing and directing the entire 9-12 Cross Country program. Specific shall include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Coaching the varsity Cross Country team.
- Assisting the head coach in managing all aspects of the program including practicing, competing, providing off-season improvement opportunities to include strength and conditioning and full usage of contact days
- Marketing and promoting the Cross Country program.
- Coaching, guiding, and providing feedback to student athletes.
- Managing a fiscally sound budget.
- Monitoring class schedules, grades and student-athlete academic progress, and intervening where appropriate.
